About Ace

Ace is a shy, gentle sweetheart who has a fan club everywhere he goes. Found as a stray in rural Colorado, Ace was completely shut down in the shelter-too overwhelmed to even stand or interact. But once he stepped outside, we saw glimpses of the sweet soul underneath. �%9D%A4��%8F Since then, Ace has spent months decompressing, learning to trust, and discovering that life can be pretty wonderful. He's a calm, low-key boy who enjoys quiet walks, cozy naps, and lounging with his people. He gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats, and surprisingly, kids bring out his playful side! Ace can be nervous around loud noises and may retreat to his crate during thunderstorms. He'll need a patient family willing to give him time to bond and build confidence. He may not greet you with instant enthusiasm, but the more he trusts you, the more his beautiful personality shines.
