About Oakley

Oakley is 4.5 years old, just under 50 pounds, and an incredibly sweet, loving dog and total cuddle bug. At home with the people she trusts, she loves being close, relaxing on the couch, and getting affection. We recently welcomed a new baby, and unfortunately Oakley has not adjusted well. She has started growling and snapping at times, and we've realized she needs an adult-only home with no children and cannot be placed in a home with another dog. Oakley is very anxious, especially outside the home and in busy environments. She would do best in a quiet home with a fenced-in yard, a predictable routine, and someone experienced with anxious/reactive dogs. She is fully potty trained and crate trained at night. This is incredibly difficult for us. Oakley is deeply loved, and our priority is finding the right home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and happy.
