About Maui

Maui. Female Great Dane. DOB 2/5/24. Spayed & UTD on vet care, vaccine & preventatives. Good with other medium to XL dogs. No small dogs due to her unawareness of size discrepancy. No cats. Maui is a little too excited and unaware of the size discrepancy. Kids 10+ yrs old due to not having been exposed to young children. Housebroken & crate trained. Located in Nashville TN area. We adopt nationwide but require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up their new furry family member Maui hasn't exactly had the pawfect start to life, but this girl refuses to let her past steal her sunshine! She is a happy, affectionate Great Dane who is ready to trade her 'rough around the edges' era for a life filled with love, learning, and LOTS of snuggles. When Maui first arrived, her manners were�'�| well�'�| let's just say she may have skipped that class. But she's smart, eager to please, and learning that not every exciting moment requires a full Great Dane celebration! Maui is definitely a diamond in the ruff who will need a patient family willing to continue working with her on her manners and helping her learn how to be the best girl she can be. She gets VERY excited, and sometimes her enthusiasm arrives before her brain does. Maui may need a little polishing, but underneath it all is a wonderful girl just waiting for someone to see her potential and help her shine. Maui is looking for a family who understands that the best things in life sometimes come with a little work-and she promises to pay you back in love, cuddles, and that adorable wiggly nub! Maui is spayed & UTD on vet care, vaccines and preventatives. She is currently being fostered in the Nashville TN area. We adopt NATIONWIDE but in most cases require adopters to travel to the foster home with their current dog/dogs (to ensure they will be friends) to pick up.
