About CUB SCOUT-NYC ResQ Pup

CUB SCOUT, a happy, year-old Pitbull mix puppy was found as a stray alongside his brother and best friend who was later named PUP TART. Unfortunately the bonded pair was dumped at the regressive high-kill pound in New York City where one in three dogs are put to death regardless of their health or adoptability. Not surprisingly, CUB SCOUT is beginning to show signs of depression but instead of understanding and a little extra attention, the pound simply added the puppy to their Kill List. When he first arrived at the pound, CUB SCOUT was friendly, playful and outgoing with everyone he met, showing just how social and personable he truly is. But the stress of the loud scary pound and probably the smell of death have become overwhelming for poor CUB SCOUT, who is also missing his beloved brother from whom he was cruelly separated upon entry to the pound. The brothers will probably never see each other again. We cannot let CUB SCOUT's story end so tragically in a cruel and uncaring city kill pound. He did nothing wrong. CUB SCOUT deserves to live a happy life with a loving forever family. Please find it in your heart to open your home to this gentle and affectionate boy and give him the love, safety, and happiness he truly deserves.
