About Sonia

Sonia needs a home! She is an adorable 9-month-old, 32-pound Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix who was recently rescued. She has been spayed and is current on her rabies vaccine. Marley is her dad! Sonia is extremely playful, energetic, and full of personality! She loves being with her people and is a total cuddle bug - although her version of affection may also include happily jumping all over you for some extra love. She seems to get along well with most dogs and cats, making her a social little girl who enjoys having both people and furry friends around. Sonia does okay on a leash, but she's still young and will need some continued practice to help her become a better walking companion. Her potty training is also a work in progress. She does still have accidents and use the bathroom inside, so her new family will need to be patient and willing to work with her on establishing a consistent potty routine. Sonia is a sweet, cuddly, playful and high-energy young girl with so much potential. She just needs a family willing to give her the time, consistency, and love she needs to learn and thrive.
