We cannot believe someone dumped this gorgeous boy as a young senior. His owner never showed, but the shelter has named him 'Chow' and estimates he is now 8 years old. He now weighs 46 lbs so he's perfect sized. His behavior notes say 'Easy to leash, walked well to yard and immediately used the restroom. Knows sit, takes treats gently. Leans entire head into ear rubs. Played a bit with the toys. Temperament tested with A553562, a spayed Labrador Retriever mix, Allie. Allie was loose, Chow was a little tense at the fence. Both dogs were sniffing their rears, and Chow loosened. Allie then ignored Chow and was more interested in sniffing the yard and sitting for me. Calm dogs, did well. Walked well back to the kennel.' This shelter is full, and dogs sadly have very little time.
