��%90%BE Meet Max - 6-Year-Old Yellow Lab Looking for a Loving Home ��%90%BE Max is a 6-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever, with an English Lab father and American Lab mother. He is truly a sweet, gentle giant with a calm, docile personality and a whole lot of love to give. Max has been with our family since he was 8 weeks old and has spent his entire life in the same home. He has been well socialized throughout his life with other dogs, children, infants, and toddlers. He currently lives with two other dogs - a female Lab who is also looking for a new home and a male Lab/Dachshund mix. �%9D%A4��%8F About Max: * Extremely sweet, gentle, and docile * Raised around multiple dogs * Has extensive experience around children, babies, and toddlers * Potty trained * Crate trained, although he does not need to be crated regularly * Generally very quiet and rarely barks * Thinks he is a lap dog despite having absolutely no understanding of his size * Has a funny habit of closing doors behind himself and occasionally locking himself in bathrooms and laundry rooms * May bark at unfamiliar smells or objects - apparently, new tires are suspicious enough to warrant an investigation Unfortunately, our family is separating, and circumstances have left us unable to continue caring for Max and his siblings. This is an incredibly difficult decision because they have been part of our family for their entire lives. Our biggest priority is finding safe, loving, permanent homes for them. We are desperately trying to keep them from having to enter an animal shelter, and unfortunately, we have a limited amount of time to find them homes. We want Max to go to someone who will love him as much as he has been loved for the last six years. He is a wonderful dog who deserves a home where he can continue being the oversized lap dog he believes he is.
