About Rudy

Rudy is a 2 year old sweet, sensitive boy who is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can truly feel safe and comfortable. While he can be shy at first, once he warms up to his people, his adorable wigglebutt personality begins to shine and you quickly see just how loving he really is. Rudy has been well cared for and is a very adoptable dog who simply needs the right environment to help him thrive. He is 90% house training but can occasionally mark in the house if you're not watching him, so continued patience, consistency, frequent outings and routine will help him continue building good habits. He does well with both dogs and cats and enjoys having companionship around him. He NEEDS another dog in the home to feel confident and secure. Rudys current home has proven to be a bit too overwhelming for his nervous temperament, particularly with the busy energy of a young toddler. Because of this, he would do best in a quieter home without small children where he can settle in at his own pace and continue building confidence. Rudy may take a little time to trust, but the reward is a deeply sweet and loyal companion who just wants to feel secure and loved. With patience, understanding, and a peaceful environment, he has all the potential to blossom into an incredible best friend.
