About Ali

Every once in a while, a dog comes along who just has 'it'. You know the kind-the one everyone notices, everyone falls a little bit in love with, and everyone who meets her says, 'Oh my goodness�'�| she is SPECIAL.' That's Ali. A 7 years old and 34 pounds Springer Spaniel, Ali is the epitome of what we all hope for in a dog. She has an amazing temperament, wonderful energy, and the happiest, sweetest spirit. She loves people, loves other dogs, and has a friendliness about her that makes you feel like you've known her forever. And that FACE! Those soulful eyes and that sweet smile! Ali has just the right amount of energy-she's happy to enjoy life, go for a walk, meet new friends, and be part of the action, but what really makes her shine is her incredible ability to simply connect with people. There's a spark in Ali that is hard to describe until you meet her. She's one of those dogs who makes you smile without even trying. She has a warmth, a sweetness, and a genuine joy for life that is completely contagious. Ali is one of those rare, unforgettable dogs who comes along and leaves a little paw print on everyone's heart.We think whoever gets to take Ali home is going to wonder how they ever got so lucky. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources.
