About Gomez

Gomez is a 1�%BD-year-old long-haired cat weighing around 14 pounds. He's a big, handsome boy with plenty of personality! Gomez is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful cat. He loves to snuggle especially at night, and gives lots of licks. He is extremely friendly with humans and loves attention be that play or love. Because he's still young and gets excited easily, he can occasionally get a little carried away and may give a playful nip, but he responds well to redirection. Gomez's biggest challenge is that he has a lot of energy and a very enthusiastic play style along with a little jealousy. Unfortunately, this has resulted in him bullying our two other cats. For that reason, we think Gomez would be happiest as the only cat in the home, where he can have all the attention and playtime he wants. He is an indoor only kitty. Gomez absolutely loves our large dog and gets along wonderfully with him. He frequently tries to initiate play with the dog, though our pup doesn't quite understand how to play with a cat, and seems to really enjoy having a canine companion. We would love to keep him, but we want to find the environment where he-and the other animals in the household-can all thrive. We think he would make a fantastic companion for someone looking for a big, affectionate, energetic cat with plenty of love and playfulness to give.
