Chicago Animal Care and Control mostly only allows purebred Shepherds to be rescued through a rescue org., not adopted through the shelter, therefore at increased risk of a tragic ending, there. PLEASE apply to foster or foster to adopt with German Shepherd Rescue, Inc, if live in Chicago/Chicagoland area, parts of Indiana. She's very friendly. Spoke to her former owner, said that she's a very friendly dog and didn't know any behavioral issues- surrendering because he's moving and can take her to the new place.
