About Bowie

Meet Bowie: Bowie is a 16-week-old 7.3 pound teddy bear, and his breed is a very accurate description of his personality! Sweet, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully social, Bowie is the kind of puppy who loves being part of the action-but is just as happy curling up beside his favorite people. Bowie absolutely loves playing with other dogs and enjoys chewing on bones, playing with toys, and, of course, getting treats. He is a smart little guy and is learning new things quickly. In fact, he learned to sit on his very first night in his foster home simply by watching the other dogs and following their example! He's doing well with his commands, too. 'Come' and 'stay' are coming along nicely, although he's still practicing and learning every day. He is also working hard on his potty training and making progress as he learns his new routine. One of Bowie's sweetest qualities is how closely he likes to stay to his person. If you're sitting at the table or working at a desk, don't be surprised to find Bowie curled up on the floor right at your feet. He just wants to be near you. And when nighttime comes, Bowie is ready to settle down and cuddle. He loves snuggling with his person or curling up with the other dogs. After a day of puppy fun, there's nothing he enjoys more than being cozy and close. Bowie truly is a little teddy bear-a happy, loving puppy with a playful spirit and a big heart. Bowie is good with other dogs and children, but he has never interacted with cats He would love a home where he can continue learning, playing, growing, and, most importantly, being part of a family that will love having this sweet little guy by their side.
