About Copper

Hey everyone! My name is Copper and I am a 3 1/2 year old Border Collie/ Husky mix - they call it a Borskie! I am roughly 50-60 lbs but am not expected to get any bigger in height. I get along wonderfully with cats and other dogs, and I am house trained. I can also sit, stay, paw, lay down, & catch! I am super smart and very treat motivated so learning new things isn't a problem for me! I am not fully vetted YET but have appointments set in place and will be available to go home once this has been completed; I am super healthy. I unfortunately need to be in a home with adults ONLY or children over the age of 5 with NO chance of being around children younger than that. I recently started showing signs of aggression towards younger kids and it is necessary to go to an adult only home. I will also need to go to a home with a fenced in yard, or property to run. I am a little bit shy when it comes to men but once I have given you a proper sniff my next favorite spot is in your lap or walking right beside you. I am good on the leash and do good in the car as well. I am vocal as most huskies are, but I really only bark when I'm left by myself. I will dig if given the opportunity. Fetch and chewing on stuffed animals are two of my favorite things in the whole world, besides snuggling up next to my human. I am eager to find an outgoing, busy family that can keep me entertained and love me as a part of their own.
