LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within a one hour drive to Pensacola, FL Meet JACEY, JASPER, JESSA, JET, JOLIE, and JONAH! These gorgeous puppies were born into rescue on July 6th and can go home on September 9th. Their mom, JOURNEE, is a Shih Tzu who was found as a stray. When no owner was located she came to us. Imagine our surprise when we took her to her initial vet visit and found out she was pregnant! JACEY is a pretty fawn colored girl and the smallest of the puppies. She is a timid, sweet little girl who enjoys snuggles and following her siblings around the house. She loves to play with toys. JASPER is a beautiful silver boy with blue eyes. He is very loving, gives kisses, and loves attention most. He was the first to go up the two steps to the couch and loves to wrestle with his siblings. JESSA is the prettiest black female pup with a tiny puff of white on her chest. She is petite and loves to play with toys and curl up for naps in her fuzzy round dog bed. JET is a gorgeous black puppy with gray eyes. He is friendly and loves to wrestle and play with his littermates and is just discovering toys. JOLIE is a super sweet and loving little girl who enjoys being near her foster mom. She happily gives out kisses, loves to cuddle, and enjoys playing with toys. JONAH is a handsome brindle boy. He is the most independent and enjoys hiding from his foster mom when she goes to put the pups back in their play pen. Like his siblings, he loves to play. The puppies all play together like typical siblings, chasing each other, playing tug-of-war and wrestling. They're just starting to play with toys, and their individual personalities are beginning to show. They play hard and then crash, often piling onto the couch with their foster mom for a nap before getting up to do it all over again. They're in the puppy stage of thinking toes and pant legs make excellent toys! They all love being around people and happily greet their foster mom when she comes home or lets them out of their pen in the morning. They are not yet consistent with potty pads when they're out of their pen and, like all puppies, will need continued potty training in their new homes. All of the puppies are very interested in playing with the other dogs in their foster home. Because they enjoy canine companionship so much, we believe each would be happiest in a home with a young, playful dog who would enjoy having a little buddy. By the time they can go home, the puppies will have had two of their three puppy shots, and will be microchipped with a lifetime registration. The third puppy shot will be given approximately 3 weeks after their go home date and is covered by the rescue. PLEASE NOTE: These puppies are NO PAWS ON THE GROUND until approximately 12 weeks of age, after they have received their final Parvo vaccination. Until then, their new families will need to be especially careful about where they are taken and avoid taking them outside. We highly recommend investing in a puppy pen to keep them safe inside when they cannot be supervised. Their spay/neuters will be scheduled at one of our vets when they are old enough and are also covered by the rescue. Because they have pending vet appointments, the puppies are local adoption only which is within a one hour drive to Pensacola. *To meet or adopt, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
