URGENT: XANDER NEEDS A SAFE, EXPERIENCED HOME We are desperately trying to find the right person, foster, rescue, or organization to help Xander, a Belgian Malinois, and keep him from being euthanized. Xander is a very loving, sweet boy who has found himself in an unfortunate situation through no fault of his own. Due to an unexpected emergency with his current family, they are no longer able to provide the home and support he needs, and we are running out of options. I want to be completely transparent because finding the right placement for Xander is incredibly important. He needs someone who understands Belgian Malinois or other high-drive working breeds and is willing and able to give him the structure, training, exercise, and consistency he needs. He is also in need of neutering, updated vaccinations/veterinary care, and professional training. Xander has so much potential. He is affectionate and loving, but he needs someone who can invest the time and work into helping him become the dog we know he can be. This is not a dog we want to simply hand off to anyone. We are hoping to find an experienced Malinois owner, trainer, working-dog home, breed-specific rescue, or qualified foster who can give him a real chance. Our biggest goal right now is simply to get Xander somewhere safe where he can receive the training and support he deserves instead of losing his life because we couldn't find him help in time. If you have experience with Belgian Malinois, work with a rescue or trainer, or know someone who may be able to help, PLEASE reach out. Even if you cannot take Xander yourself, sharing this post with trainers, rescues, K9 contacts, and experienced working-dog owners could be what finds him the person he needs.
