Hello, my name is Bear! I'm an 11.5-year-old Yorkie boy weighing a petite 10 pounds, and I've got a coat color that turns heads - a beautiful, unique light chocolate hue you don't see every day. My story starts with love, but also loss. The woman who cared for me passed away, and afterward I wasn't looked after the way I deserved. Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue stepped in to make sure I got a second chance at the happy life every senior pup like me is entitled to. Don't let my age fool you - I'm healthy, active, and full of spunk! I get along well with other dogs, so a canine sibling wouldn't bother me one bit, and I do best with older, dog-savvy kids who know how to gently handle a small senior guy like me. I'm also an easygoing rider who loves a good car trip. At this stage of my life, all I'm really looking for is a soft bed, a warm lap, and someone who'll let me spend my golden years being adored.
