About Rex

Rex is a 3�%BD-year-old, approximately 50-lb pit bull mix. He is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being with his people and is happiest when he's getting attention and companionship. Rex is a big-time snuggler once he settles in. He loves curling up on the couch or even snuggling in bed with his people. He also absolutely loves to play ball-sometimes his favorite place to play is right in the house! �ٴZ He enjoys going for walks as well, although he can get a little anxious and does best with a social/leash setup that helps keep him close and gives him confidence. He is house trained and knows basic commands. We also invested in a week-long board-and-train program with a professional trainer, which helped him learn structure and obedience. Rex can be a little strong-willed and protective of his people, and he does best once he has had time to settle in and feel comfortable. Underneath that initial intensity is a loving, playful dog who really wants to be close to his person. We are looking to re-home Rex because our current schedule requires us to leave him alone more than he is comfortable with. He genuinely prefers having people around, and we feel he deserves a home where he can have more companionship and attention than we are currently able to provide. This is not a decision we are making lightly. We want to find Rex a loving, responsible forever home where someone will be patient with him, continue working with him, and appreciate the affectionate, goofy, ball-loving dog that he is. �%9D%A4��%8F If you think Rex might be a good fit for you, please reach out and tell us a little about yourself, your home, and your experience with dogs.
