About Gizmo and Indi

With the heaviest heart, I am looking for the right home for Gizmo & Indi. I honestly never thought I would be making a post like this. Rehoming them is something I have wrestled with tremendously, and this is not a decision I am making because I don't love them. Quite the opposite. I love them enough to know that sometimes asking for help and doing what is best for them means making an incredibly painful decision. Gizmo (White & Black) DOB: 12/16/2019 Neutered Gizmo is our more laid-back guy. He loves his people fiercely and is incredibly loyal and protective of them. Because of that, he can be very wary of new people especially around home, and his protectiveness can sometimes come across as aggression. He would need someone who understands his personality, is patient with him, and is willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and trust someone. Indi (Black & Brown) DOB: 01/22/2021 Unaltered Indi is a ball of loving energy. She is affectionate, playful, goofy, and just wants to love on her people. She brings a completely different energy than Gizmo and has such a sweet personality. She is more rowdy but in the best ways! �'�%BC��%8FTHEY MUST GO TOGETHER.�'�%BC��%8F Gizmo and Indi have been together ever since Indi came home, and they are extremely bonded. I will not separate them. Finding them a home together is my absolute priority. They have been around children and do well with kids. I am unsure how they would do with other animals, so I would want any potential home to be very thoughtful about that and willing to do proper introductions. I am looking for someone who understands Australian Cattle Dogs and, more importantly, someone who is committed to giving both of them a loving, safe, permanent home. I am not looking to simply give them away to the first person who asks. I want to talk to potential adopters, answer questions honestly, and make sure it is the right fit for everyone. This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. These two have been part of our family for years, and my heart is absolutely breaking. But I want to put their needs and their future first.
