About Luna

Luna is a 7 year old Bluetick Coonhound. Due to a series of unfortunate events in our lives, we are unable to give her the medical care she is in need of. She will need a hypoallergenic diet due to yeast issues, and ointment for her eyes as well as an allergy medicine for seasonal allergies. She is current on her rabies and heartworm shots. Luna is great with our kids and other kids we have in our home, but needs to be slowly introduced to some adults. She loves night time snuggles under the covers and lounging around the house. She is a serial counter surfer and trash digger, so it is recommended to make sure all food is out of reach. Luna currently lives with our other dog and 2 cats which she does very well with, but we are unsure how she would react to new animals. Our family loves Luna very much, but we know it's unfair that we can't provide adequate medical care to her. We are hoping to find a family for her that can keep her active and love her for the goofy girl she is.
