Rex is a ~2-year-old, ~50-lb pit bull mix with a big, goofy personality. He's very affectionate and people-oriented-he loves being near his humans and settles nicely once his initial energy is out. He has lots of energy, but it's pretty easy to take the edge off with play, a walk, or a little training session. He's smart and very trainable and is currently working on manners like jumping, recall, and general impulse control. He can be playful with other dogs, but he has shown resource guarding toward dogs around toys/chews, so he needs thoughtful introductions and management of high-value items. He does not resource guard from people. He's been in foster care for about a month and has made good progress with house manners. He was neutered August 25 and is currently recovering. Overall, he's a sweet, energetic, cuddly young dog who would do really well with someone who enjoys being active and continuing his training.
