About Kylo dies on 9/2!!

UPDATE: Kylo's euthanasia date has been extended to 9/2. He has a little more time to get the h*ll out!! His owners dropped him off at the Harbor Shelter like an old sweater they didn't want anymore. Why? They were moving. 9 years. Over. Just like that. Sorry Kylo, your owner said he just didn't have room for you anymore. AND NOW KYLO WILL BE EUTHANIZED IF HE IS NOT ADOPTED OR FOSTERED BY SUNDAY, AUGUST 30th by 4:00pm. Let's focus on what we know about Kylo because he's got a ROCK STAR resume that deserves to be noticed by anyone willing to give a senior a second chance. According to his previous owners, Kylo spent his whole life outdoors. Despite being potty trained, friendly, GOOD WITH CATS, non reactive, social, easy going, and loyal - despite 9 yrs of all this, Kylo never earned his way into the house ... and now he's facing euthanasia at the shelter all because his owners were moving. But let me tell you what we volunteers have also learned about Kylo. He is good with other dogs, gets along with everyone, is non reactive to barking dogs, knows commands IN TWO LANGUAGES (English and Spanish) such as sit and shake, down & stay, takes treats very gently from your hand, and if that wasn't enough, Kylo is 100% potty trained. Yep. You read that right!! Kylo will not mess in his kennel so volunteers have to be sure to take him out regularly. Kylo currently sits at the Harbor Shelter hoping that someone will come for him and give him a better life which is SCHEDULED TO END by Sunday, August 30th. If you or someone you know is looking for a calm, gentle, senior dog who is healthy, smart, potty trained - and gets along with cats - let's not forget that, PLEASE consider Kylo.
