About Chief

Chief!! is a good dog. We rescued him from a breeder that was shut down in Wyoming. He was fostered by another breeder and at the time we were looking for a Puppy malamute and someone had told us about an adult being available for a lot less and so we had went and picked him up. What wasn't disclosed was that he was a stud for all the life and lived in the kennel situation and had no formal training, not a lot of human contact and did not know how to be a pet. He is however, a beautiful, healthy male dog who is five years old current on all of his vaccinations. He needs to be neutered by his new owner. However, he does not have any obedience training and hasn't had a lot of human contact and so he's very skittish needs a lot of patience and consistent and an experienced owner to spend time Teaching him how to be a pet he deserves a loving home what we were looking for was a dog to take hiking and go on adventures with us and we just don't have the experience or the time to put into him what he needs he is great with other dogs. He lets our puppy jump all over him. Cats is another thing he does want to play with him, but he doesn't realize how strong he is and that's the same goes with kids. He has never snapped no bit or growled at any person or animal as far as I know but he is just a big dog and I wouldn't want him knocking any Little ones over. Our biggest issues we had with him are getting him in the car, but once he's in, he's great a little anxious at first and the other is getting him on a leash and even more so if you are out letting him run unleashed on the beach, which is great he has a fun time but then getting him back on the leash to get it back into the car is a major issue so be careful with that for sure please inquire I will let you know as much as I know about him. He is a beautiful healthy dog just deserves a loving home and we just don't have the time and energy to put into him what he is needed and more so then money we want a loving home and we would love for you to put the money into him rather than our pockets, we've just put a lot of money in time into him and we just want to see him live a great rest of his life
