About Naya and Storm

MEET NAYA & STORM - TWO BEST FRIENDS WHO NEED ONE FOREVER HOME Naya and Storm have one simple request: please don't make them say goodbye to each other. These two sweethearts are a bonded pair currently living in kennels in Indiana, and after spending so much of their lives together, they need a family willing to open their heart and home to both of them. Naya is the smaller of the pair, approximately 3 years old and about 55 pounds. She is a beautiful black Lab mix with a sweet face and a gentle presence. Storm is the bigger guy, approximately 65 pounds, with a tall, handsome build and a personality to match. He is a Pit Bull/Hound mix who is happy, affectionate, outgoing and absolutely loves people. Both Naya and Storm are good with people and other dogs. They enjoy playing, spending time with people and, most of all, being together. Wherever one goes, the other is never very far behind. Their living situation has not given them the opportunity to experience everything a real home has to offer, so we don't want to make promises about things we haven't personally seen. Their exact house-training status and other household manners will need to be confirmed. What we do know is that these two have spent far too much time living in a kennel when they should have been someone's family. And now their situation has become urgent. Naya and Storm must leave their current placement by the end of October. After waiting so long for someone to notice them, they are running out of time. Imagine what it would mean for them to finally trade kennel doors for a front door. To have soft beds, toys scattered across the floor, walks with their person, afternoons playing in the yard and a family waiting for them at the end of every day. They don't care about a fancy house. They don't need separate rooms. They don't even need two families. They just need one person to look at both of them and say, 'You can come home together.' Naya and Storm have already found their best friend in each other. Now they are searching for the family who will make sure they never have to lose that. Two dogs. Two hearts. One adoption. One forever home.
