About Bear

We are looking for the right home for our 7-year-old male German Shepherd, Bear. This has been a difficult decision for our family, but we want to find the environment where he will be happiest. Bear is a very loving and gentle dog who has been around children his whole life and has never shown any aggression toward people. He knows basic commands, is e-collar trained, and does well in an outdoor kennel. He enjoys being near his people and does best with a consistent routine. Since moving back to Washington from North Dakota, Bear hasn't settled into our current environment as well as we hoped. We believe he would do best in a calmer home where he can have more one-on-one time with his person. Bear would likely thrive with someone who is home much of the time and can provide a steady, relaxed environment. Our priority is simply finding the right home where he can be comfortable and well cared for.
