Meet Nevada. His mom is an Australian Shepherd mix and dad may have been a German Shepherd. Nevada was born in April, 2026. We think he will be between 35-50 pounds when he is done growing. Nevada is making great progress in house training and will just need a little reinforcement in his new home. He is a smart guy and will be fun to train. Nevada is good with other dogs and likes to play. He would be fine as an only or with another playful dog who isn't too rambunctious. He also seems ok with cats as he lives with cats in his foster home. Nevada is a love. He enjoys people and likes to be in the mix of whatever you are doing. With new people, he loves to meet a new get attention. Because he is a puppy and can jump up, we prefer that his new home doesn't have any toddlers that she could knock over. Nevada will be a fun adventure buddy. He is learning all about the leash and is good in the car. He also is starting to get into toys. Nevada is the adventure dog who is confident, curious, and likes to climb on things. Hiking or parkour would be fun for him. He likes to drink from the hose, or try to grab the water. He has even hopped in the pool and thought that was neat. He will still occasionally just run up and flop on his foster mom for belly rubs before trying to nibble her ear. Nevada is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is located in Southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who are able to come here to meet and adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required.
