About Betsy

Betsy's owner dumped her at a high-kill shelter, where she was immediately scheduled for euthanasia. Volunteers were pleading with us to do something. So we went and rescued her. We met a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who is smart, curious, and loves having something to do. Betsy enjoys working on commands, playing with the hose, and hanging out with her people. Betsy loves kids. We have a video of her taking commands from a 3-year-old girl. She's also friendly with dogs her size--she's ready for an active home that will keep her engaged and adored. This smart, active girl would do best in a home with a backyard. She has good leash manners and would appreciate a neighborhood walk or two every day. Betsy would thrive in an environment where someone works from home and can let her out into the backyard to play. Come meet this sweet girl, you'll love her.
