About Rudy

Rudy is a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent dog who loves giving kisses and learning new things. When he feels safe, he is incredibly chill and easygoing. We are looking for a new home for Rudy because his anxiety has increased since welcoming a child into our family, and we can no longer provide the quiet, predictable environment he needs. Rudy has a nipping history (did not break skin), which have occurred when he was anxious or overwhelmed around strangers or children in our home. We take this seriously and are looking for an experienced owner who understands anxious dogs and can carefully manage his triggers. He also has separation anxiety when in unfamiliar environments. He has been an only dog, but would love a friendly dog sibling. He is 5 years old and about 25 pounds.
