X URGENT- ORANGE COUNTY (COSTA MESA, CA) IN SO CAL- SUPER SENIOR CHOW, GENTLE GIANT 'CHEWY'- OWNER SADLY JUST PASSED AWAY, KID/DOG/CAT FRIENDLY- NEEDS A NEW LOVING, FOREVER HOME ASAP�٪%8F��%8F� Please help us find a loving, forever home asap for this dear sweet larger chow boy who is now 10 years old, and lived with his recently deceased owner since a young puppy. During that time, Chewy also lived with another chow Yoshi who passed away last year, as well as a cat who passed away a few years before this. Chewy has lived indoors, is potty trained, neutered, chipped, vaccinated and has no reported medical issues or bites. He was last seem by a vet about 2 months ago and also had regularly teeth cleanings, and was very much loved. The family reached out to us as they are unable to bring them to their rental due to their landlord, so he is in his original home alone, but regularly being checked on and walk daily by them. However, the family cannot sustain this for much longer and hopes to find another loving home for this total love. Chewy is described as 'Wonderful with other dogs (raised with another Chow) and cat-friendly (lived peacefully with a cat for many years and another Chow until recently). Very friendly with kids. Because he is a big boy and gets enthusiastic when greeting people at the door, we recommend a home with older children (ages 6+) just so he doesn't accidentally bump into toddlers. Loving, sweet-natured, and very attached to his people. Chewy is a gentle Big Boy'. Please note he is 97 lbs and has always been extra large (and cute).
