About Patty

Patty needs someone special �%9D%A4��%8F Patty is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who has spent most of her life without the things every dog deserves, socialization, stability, comfort and the opportunity to learn that humans are friends. She grew up in a breeding operation and, as a puppy who never sold, was simply kept in a dog run. As a result, Patty is incredibly shy and shut down. She doesn't seek out affection yet, and the world can be a very overwhelming place for her. But we see something special in this little girl. We believe Patty has potential. She needs a quiet, calm, stable home with someone who will be patient, consistent, and willing to let her decompress and build trust at her own pace. She may never be the dog who runs up to make friends with strangers, but we believe that with time, patience, and one or two people she can bond with, Patty can learn what it feels like to be safe, loved, and wanted. She doesn't need someone to fix her. She just needs someone willing to give her a chance! We are looking for a dedicated foster or adopter who will help Patty take those first steps toward the life she should have always had, and we will be there to help guide you both every step of the way!
