About Sausage

Meet Sausage! Sausage is an adorable 9-week-old puppy with a very fitting name! He was born on June 26, 2026, and currently weighs 8.6 pounds. Sausage looks a lot like his mom. He is pretty calm compared to his siblings. He is shy when trying new things and looks to his humans for reassurance. Sausage is one of Athena's 10 puppies. We don't know exactly what breeds make up this litter. Athena looks like a Pit Bull mix and weighs about 60 pounds. We also don't know if all of the puppies have the same dad, so there could be some interesting DNA surprises hiding in this litter! We have sent a Wisdom Panel DNA test for Java to see if we can get some clues about their family tree. Athena is a 60-pound dog, and we expect these puppies to grow into large adult dogs, likely around Mom's size. Because of that, Sausage will require a physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, explore, and burn off all the energy that comes with growing up. Like all young puppies, Sausage will need a family committed to continuing his training, socialization, and house training using positive reinforcement. Puppyhood is a lot of fun, but it also takes patience, consistency, and plenty of supervision. Sausage has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and has received his first distemper/parvo vaccine. His adopters will be responsible for two additional distemper/parvo vaccines and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age. Sausage is ready to meet prospective families and is looking for someone who is ready for puppy kisses, zoomies, training, chewing, exploring, and all the wonderful chaos that comes with raising a puppy.
