We found this very sweet girl a few days ago wandering a field with no collar or microchip, and she was malnourished. We've been feeding her and getting to know her personality while we searched for her owner. No one came forward to claim her, and due to her state when we found her and her bully mix breed, we must assume she was dumped. The vet estimated her as under a year old. She's a very sweet dog and super smart, we crate trained her in a day and she's picking up potty training quite well. She is a very active pup and needs someone who has the time and energy to train her. I have no doubt she will be a great dog for an only pet household. She has anxiety from whatever happened to her before we found her, so she needs patience when something is new. She has shown no signs of aggression towards people, but she does not like other dogs. But she is truly a good dog and we would gladly keep her if we did not have our own animals. We want to do right by her and our animals, so she would thrive in a home with an experienced dog owner. We only have a setup for her for temporary placement, so we need to find her a home soon. We cannot keep her long term and the rescues around us are full so if we cannot find her a home we will have to take her to a shelter.
