Meet Jelly! Jelly is a sweet 9-week-old girl with a smooth, sleek coat and a gentle soul. Jelly was born on June 26, 2026, and currently weighs 8 pounds. Jelly is one of the calmest puppies in her litter. While her siblings are busy racing around and turning everything into a game, Jelly is perfectly happy taking things at a slower pace. She is a little shy and nervous about the big world around her, so she likes to stay close to the people or puppies she trusts. Having someone nearby helps her feel safe and confident. Jelly's play style is also a little different from her littermates. She prefers soft, gentle play rather than the full-speed puppy wrestling matches her siblings enjoy. She would do well with a family willing to give her time to settle in and gain confidence at her own pace. Jelly is one of Athena's 10 puppies. We don't know exactly what breeds make up this litter. Athena appears to be a Pit Bull mix and weighs about 60 pounds. We also aren't sure if all of the puppies have the same dad, so there could be some interesting surprises hiding in their DNA. We have sent a Wisdom Panel DNA test for Java and are waiting to see what it reveals about this mystery litter. Although Jelly currently weighs just 8 pounds, she is expected to grow into a large adult dog, likely around Mom's size. Because of that, her forever home will require a physically fenced yard where she can safely run, play, explore, and burn off her puppy energy. Jelly is at the perfect age to begin learning everything she needs to become a wonderful family dog. Her new family will need to continue working on house training, basic obedience, and socialization using positive reinforcement. Like all puppies, she will need patience, consistency, supervision, and plenty of opportunities to learn as she grows. Jelly has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and has received her first distemper/parvo vaccine. Her adopter will be responsible for two additional distemper/parvo vaccines and her rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age. Jelly is ready to meet prospective families and is looking for someone who understands that the quieter puppies sometimes need a little extra time to discover their confidence. Give her patience, reassurance, and a safe place to grow, and Jelly will have every opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion.
