About Benedict

Meet Benedict Benedict is a 9-week-old boy with a wonderfully distinctive look and plenty of puppy charm! Benedict was born on June 26, 2026, and currently weighs 12 pounds, making him the biggest puppy in the litter. Benedict is hard to miss with his wispy whiskers and soft, wispy hairs throughout his coat. There is something delightfully scruffy and endearing about this boy, and we have a feeling his unique look is only going to get better as he grows! Benedict loves to play and wrestle with his siblings. Benedict is one of Athena's 10 puppies. We don't know exactly what breeds make up this litter. Athena appears to be a Pit Bull mix and weighs about 60 pounds. We also aren't sure if all of the puppies have the same dad, so there could be some interesting surprises hiding in their DNA. We have sent a Wisdom Panel DNA test for Java and are waiting to see what it reveals about this mystery litter. Even though Benedict is currently the biggest puppy, he has plenty of growing left to do. We expect these puppies to become large adult dogs, likely around Mom's size. Because of that, Benedict's forever home will require a physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, explore, and burn off his puppy energy. At 9 weeks old, Benedict is just getting started on his journey toward becoming a great family dog. His new family will need to continue working on house training, basic obedience, and socialization using positive reinforcement. Puppies need patience, consistency, and plenty of supervision as they learn about the world. Benedict has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and has received his first distemper/parvo vaccine. His adopter will be responsible for two additional distemper/parvo vaccines and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age. Benedict is ready to meet prospective families and is looking for someone ready for puppy kisses, playtime, zoomies, training, and all the wonderful chaos that comes with raising a puppy.
