Bacon is a handsome 9-week-old boy with plenty of puppy personality! He was born on June 26, 2026, and currently weighs 8.8 pounds. Bacon is the calmest puppy in the litter. He has a go with the flow personality and is happy to do his own thing. He loves to snuggle with people. Bacon is one of Athena's 10 puppies. We don't know exactly what breeds make up this litter. Athena appears to be a Pit Bull mix and weighs about 60 pounds. We also aren't sure if all of the puppies have the same dad, so there could be some fun surprises waiting in their DNA! We have sent a Wisdom Panel DNA test for Java and are waiting to see what it tells us about this mystery litter. Although Bacon is still a little guy, he is expected to grow into a large adult dog, likely around Mom's size. Because of that, his forever home will require a physically fenced yard where he can safely run, play, explore, and burn off his puppy energy. Bacon is at the perfect age to start learning all the things that will help him become a wonderful adult dog. His new family will need to continue his house training, socialization, and basic training using positive reinforcement. Puppies require patience, consistency, and plenty of supervision, but the rewards are well worth the effort. Bacon has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and has received his first distemper/parvo vaccine. His adopter will be responsible for two additional distemper/parvo vaccines and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age. Bacon is ready to meet prospective families and is looking for someone ready for puppy kisses, playtime, zoomies, training, and all the entertaining chaos that comes with having a puppy. If you're looking for a handsome little boy with a name that makes everyone hungry, Bacon would love to meet you! If you'd like to meet Bacon, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org. If you have questions about Bacon, you can email [email protected] or call 319-929-6657. Adopters must live within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA. Indoor homes only. Adoption Fee: $300
