About Puppies

PUPPY ALERT - FOSTER CARERS NEEDED URGENTLY Central Victoria 4 x 16-week-old Boxer puppies | 2F & 2M - we do not know which one is which one We were recently contacted to assist with rehoming some unplanned puppies. We were more than happy to help and sent out the paperwork, however the next thing we knew, these babies had been left at the pound. The pound is no place for puppies, and they urgently need foster carers (foster with the view to adopt) What they need: A family ready for all things puppy Commitment to ongoing training & socialisation To be included as part of the family Patience, time and plenty of love An understanding of the energetic, bouncy Boxer breed Please be aware it's not a case of first in first served, we carefully go through all applications ensuring it's the right home for the pups. Please do not contact the pound directly. They will simply redirect you back to us, so please don't try to bypass the rescue process. Why fostering? Our rescue has the policy that all dogs need to be vet checked, microchipped, desexed and up-to-date with their vaccinations before they can be adopted. This happens while in foster care (we pay the vet), and once the vet work has been done the dog will be available for adoption. Adoption process: IF the dog is happy, the foster family is happy, it is a good match and we are happy, we usually give our foster carers the first chance of adoption.
