Meet Roo Location: Victoria, TX DOB: 06/07/2026 Roo is an adorable 11-week-old Great Dane/Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and a whole lifetime of adventures ahead of him. Roo and his siblings had a very rough start to life. Their mama was brought into Harris County Animal Shelter, where she gave birth to her puppies while still in the shelter. With the family facing euthanasia, Save Rocky stepped in and rescued Mama and her puppies, giving this little family the safe beginning they deserved. Now, Roo is ready to find a family of his own. At 11 weeks old, Roo is in the fun, curious, and wonderfully chaotic puppy stage. He's playful, affectionate, and eager to explore the world around him. Like any young puppy, he's still learning about potty training, manners, boundaries, and what things are actually appropriate to chew. His new family will need to be prepared for the time, patience, training, and supervision that come with raising a puppy. As a Great Dane/Labrador Retriever mix, Roo is expected to grow into a large dog. Early socialization, positive training, and continued guidance will be especially important as he grows into the gentle giant he's meant to become. Roo would love a family ready to include him in life's adventures, from backyard playtime and learning new tricks to puppy snuggles after a busy day.
