About Lulu

Lulu is a sweet, sensitive girl who is learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. She can be scared in new situations, so she'll need a patient adopter who is willing to give her time, encouragement, and lots of positive experiences to help build her confidence. Lulu has already made some wonderful progress! She now walks on a leash and enjoys going out with other dogs. When she feels nervous, she may tuck herself between her handler's legs for a little extra security. It's her way of saying, 'I need some reassurance,' and with patience and support, she continues to become more confident. Lulu likes people, but she doesn't immediately trust everyone she meets. She needs time to get to know you and feel comfortable before showing you her full personality. Once she realizes she's safe, she can begin to relax and enjoy your company. Lulu would do best with someone who understands that building a relationship takes time. She isn't looking for perfection-she's looking for someone who will be patient, gentle, and celebrate her little victories along the way.
