ELWOOD, an exceptionally friendly two-year-old Shepherd mix, was discovered wandering on a backcountry road in rural Texas, and was luckily rescued by a local No Kill sanctuary. ELWOOD is a gentle, loving dog. His sweet nature and calm energy, and the fact that he not only loves to go on long walks with his favorite people, but also walks so gently on a leash, makes him the ideal companion for a retired couple, but he would also do well in any family. ELWOOD is a bright and curious dog who learns very quickly. A uniquely handsome boy with bright brown eyes, ELWOOD is also neutered, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health.
