Rocky Foster/Home Needed - Long Island, NY area Meet Rocky, a 2-yr old male German Shepherd. He has been loved his entire life, but conditions were never easy. He lived in a car for a while and now his owner has fallen on very hard times, both financially and physically. Caring for Rocky has become nearly impossible. He just wants Rocky to find the loving, stable, happy & healthy home he so desperately deserves �%9D%A4��%8F Rocky is socialized with people and dogs. He used to frequent dog parks and loves fresh air & chasing balls. He's never cohabitated with a cat, but he's been around feral cat communities where his only interest was in food leftover from the frequent cat feeders. Rocky has a good temperament and shows no aggression. He was raised off-leash and was obedient for his owner. Rocky doesn't resist a collar or leash; he just needs practice how to properly walk beside his person. He is extremely intelligent and will learn quickly. Rocky knows the basic commands (sit, lay-down, stay, wait) and he's very eager to please! Rocky was struck by a car about 2 months ago. He had a plate put in his leg and healed very well from the surgery. He is able to run and jump the same as before! He is neutered and UTD on all.
