About Callie

We adopted Callie on June 8, 2026, and she has truly stolen our hearts. She is an incredibly sweet and loving Boxer who is wonderful with me, my husband, and our two young boys. Unfortunately, Callie is extremely reactive toward other dogs, both big and small. We have three other dogs, and despite our efforts, it has become clear that our home is not the right environment for her. We want to do what is best for Callie and our other dogs. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where Callie can be the only dog, or someone experienced with dog reactivity. She deserves a home where she can feel safe, relaxed, and loved. Callie is not being rehomed because of aggression toward people. Her reactivity is specifically toward other animals. This decision is heartbreaking, and we want to be very careful about where she goes. Please do not message us if you simply want to 'try her out.' We want someone truly committed to Callie who will give her the patience, structure, understanding, and love she deserves.
