About Merlot

Merlot has been a wonderful addition to our family. She has been with our family for a little over 4 years. The previous family got her as a puppy and went on to have 3 or 4 kids and just couldn't give her the love and attention she deserved. Recently there was in incident where my son approached her while she was laying on the couch resting and kissed her head and she bit him on his face. She has never shown any signs of aggression in the past. Given that we have younger nieces and nephews who may not understand that she needs her space when resting and sleeping, we would love to rehome her. She is a wonderful companion. Very loyal, walks well on a leash, in great health and shape. She loves to eat and go for walks. She enjoys the finer things in life like laying on a pillow and even better a nice soft blanket. Breaks our hearts to be in this position.
