Meet Vicky - A Gentle Girl Looking for a Quiet Place to Call Home Vicky is a beautiful 4-year-old Presa Canario/Pit Bull mix with a gorgeous brindle-and-white coat and a sweet, laid-back personality. She has been waiting far too long for someone to finally choose her, and we're hoping her special person is out there. Vicky isn't asking for a busy life or nonstop adventures. She's a lower-energy girl who would be happiest in a quiet, peaceful home where she can relax, spend time with her person, and finally know what it feels like to truly belong. She has a wonderfully silly side, too, and once she's comfortable, her personality will absolutely make you smile. Vicky needs to be the only pet in the home, with no other dogs and no cats. She's looking for someone who wants one special dog to spoil with all their love and attention. Vicky is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, which will be provided and covered by the rescue. During treatment and recovery, she needs to remain calm and keep her activity limited-which actually suits this laid-back girl just fine. Her adopter will not be left to handle the treatment expense on their own. Not ready to adopt permanently? A foster home would be incredibly valuable for Vicky as well. A peaceful foster home where she can rest and recover during her heartworm treatment could make a tremendous difference in her life.
