About Margot

%90%BE MEET MARGOT! %90%BE If you're looking for a big, beautiful girl who knows how to chill AND play, Margot might be your girl! ե Margot is a 2-year-old, 55 lb Labradoodle who is dog-door, crate, and leash trained. She is good on leash, great in the car, and loves to snuggle-but thankfully, she doesn't feel the need to crawl inside your skin to do it. She's affectionate without being overwhelming. Most of the time, Margot is calm, quiet, and perfectly content to hang out with you. UNTIL'| Z%BE IT'S BALL TIME. Z%BE Margot is a professional fetch player. She LOVES her ball and will happily convince you that her only purpose in life is to retrieve it approximately 700 times. Because she gets so excited about playing, her ball time will need to be restricted and monitored so she can enjoy her favorite game without overdoing it! %90 DOG SELECTIVE Margot plays with her foster sibling, but she is not a fan of dogs getting in her face, barking at her, or puppies being puppies. She does best when dogs respect her personal space and boundaries. Because of this, Margot is considered dog selective, and we will need to determine compatibility at a meet and greet. She will need a home where her boundaries are respected and where she can enjoy her people without being overwhelmed by other dogs. s IMPORTANT: Margot cannot be in a home with chickens or birds. This is a firm requirement for her forever home. And because Margot is a Labradoodle, her beautiful coat comes with a little responsibility! %8F She will require regular professional grooming as well as consistent brushing and coat maintenance at home to keep her coat healthy and prevent matting. A huge THANK YOU to Awesome Dog Grooming in Daleville for giving Margot a fresh haircut and helping her look and feel her best! ե Ϭ Margot at a glance: %90 2 years old sЕ%8F 55 lbs Z%BE Professional fetch player - ball time must be limited %8F Dog-door trained %8F%8F Crate trained | Good on leash s Great in the car %90 Dog selective - meet required %90 Good with cats ե Loves to snuggle Calm & chill %90 No chickens or birds %8F Requires regular grooming & brushing at home Margot is the kind of dog who can spend the afternoon lounging around with you and then suddenly decide it's time to clock in for her fetch shift. She's looking for a family who will appreciate her calm personality, respect her boundaries, keep her ball obsession appropriately managed, and commit to the grooming her beautiful coat requires.
