About River

Meet River! River is a sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loyal terrier mix who loves nothing more than cuddling up with his person. He is extremely smart, loving, and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. River does best in a calm, structured home where he can feel safe and comfortable. He has a history of reactivity but has several years of training. He would be best suited to an experienced owner who understands his needs. While River currently coexists with two cats and has gotten along well with some dogs, he would likely be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can have his person all to himself. He would also do best in a home without children. River has so much love to give and is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give him the stability, structure, and affection he deserves.
