About Bruce

Meet Bruce! He is a 19 week old San Antonio special of a pup. This sweet boy is part of a litter that was rescued from an abandoned property in the Texas heat with mamma. These babies were skin and bones when we got to them, mom was is even worse shape. Giving all she had to ensure their survival. Without intervention these guys would not have made it. All puppies and momma were malnourished and had the worst case of intestinal parasites we have ever seen. After weeks of treatment the whole crew finally tested negative for all parasites! The entire crew is now healthy, fully vaccinated, and current on preventions. Bruce specifically is a playful and goofy boy. He is a bit on the calmer side. He prefers laying with his people more than he does rough -housing with his dog friends. Bruce does have a heart murmur that is currently being monitored. The doctor does not think it will affect his life negativity. He is still a normal puppy! It just may be something that will have to be monitored as he gets older.
