About Zuko

Awesome GSD with shelter stress needs a home asap. Meet ZUKO! This lovely 5-yr old male German Shepherd checks all the boxes. He loves people, kids, and cats, but prefers to choose his own canine friends. He's very pleasant and sweet, and also easy to please. The bad news? He's freaking out with fear and sadness when left alone in the kennel area. To ease his shelter stress, the wonderful staff at Southwick Animal Control keep him with them as much as possible. He's happy as a clam while in the office, where he either plays with his beloved tennis ball or sleeps. But when he has to go back to the kennel, he cries and stresses. He's literally breaking everyone's heart. Zuko is truly a grrr-eat companion dog. Serious inquiries, large dog-experienced owners, give him time to settle in.
