Sweet 5-Year-Old Australian Shepherd Penny Looking for a Loving Home �%9D%A4��%8F We are heartbroken to be looking for a new home for Penny, our 5-year-old Australian Shepherd. Penny belongs to my 16-year-old daughter and has been a very loved member of our family. Penny is spayed, microchipped, and very sweet. She is a little shy around strangers, especially men, because she has grown up in an all-female household. She may need a little time to feel comfortable with someone new, but once she warms up, she is a loving and affectionate girl. Penny has also grown up with our Chihuahua, so she is very comfortable around other dogs and gets along well with them. Her favorite things are butt scratches, cuddling under the covers, and being close to her people. She is truly a sweet family dog who loves affection and companionship. �%9D%A4��%8F Unfortunately, our family is moving from a house into an apartment, and we cannot keep Penny in our new living situation. This is an incredibly difficult decision, especially for my daughter. We want to find Penny a home where she will be loved and treated as part of the family. Because she is an Australian Shepherd, we would ideally like to find someone who understands the breed and can give her plenty of exercise, attention, companionship, and enrichment.
