Joel is a 3-year-old Matiff/Pit mix with a big heart, big muscles, and an even bigger capacity for love. Look at those beautiful eyes. This handsome guy is friendly with people and absolutely thrives on attention and affection. He adores cuddling just as much as he enjoys playtime. When Joel loves you, he LOVES you - though his affection can be a little exuberant! Expect full-body wiggles, enthusiastic greetings, and joyful energy when he's excited. Joel is: Strong and athletic A fantastic running or hiking buddy Food motivated and eager to learn Trained with basic obedience Attentive and responsive to his handler (he is currently fostered with a dog trainer so Joel knows his stuff!) Because he's powerful, energetic, and sometimes impulsive in his excitement, Joel needs an experienced owner familiar with the breed - someone confident and consistent who can provide leadership and help channel his enthusiasm appropriately.
