About Leia

Leia is a loving, goofy, energetic girl looking for a stable and experienced home. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to major financial and housing changes, I can no longer sustainably provide the level of care she needs. Leia has Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), a lifelong condition that requires pancreatic enzymes with her meals. She needs an adopter who understands that she will require continued medical management and is financially prepared for her care. She has a big personality and lots of energy and would thrive with someone who has the time, patience, and stability to give her the attention and structure she deserves. Leia originally came from ACC Queens, and finding her the right home-not simply the fastest home-is extremely important to me. I will be completely transparent with potential adopters about her medical history, personality, routine, and behavioral needs.
