We are looking for a loving, experienced home for Bane, our 2-year-old Rottweiler. This is an extremely difficult decision for us because we love him very much, but we have to put everyone's safety and well-being first. Bane is not comfortable around very young children, and because we have young children, we feel that our home is no longer the right environment for him. Bane is dog-selective and not good with cats, so we are looking for a home where he can be the only pet or with someone experienced with proper dog introductions. Because of his size and temperament, we feel an adult-only home or a home with older, experienced children would be best. He needs someone who understands Rottweilers, is willing to give him structure, patience, exercise, and continued training, and will treat him as part of the family. We are not looking to just give him away-we want to make sure he goes to the right home where he can truly thrive. This is heartbreaking for us, and we want to be completely transparent about his needs rather than put him or another family in a situation that isn't a good fit. If you are genuinely interested and have experience with Rottweilers or large, strong breeds, please message me with information about yourself, your home, and any other pets you have. %BD%9D%A4%BD%BD%8F Serious inquiries only. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to meet his needs and be committed to him long-term.
